  July 10, 2011 - Salone di Grandi Vini Bianchi (Mirabelle Restaurant Austin, Texas): A light, straw color with fine aromas of fruit, sea salt, forest floor, and rose, which blew off and developed into some complexity. This was the favorite of the flight, as it had clean acidity and rich flavor notes of pear/apple, spice, almond, grass, lemon, and some minerals. It had excellent balance and a nice finish, with some lingering honey and peach flavor, and reminded several tasters of a dry Alsatian pinot gris.
