  September 6, 2011 - A spicy and intriguing syrah which balances great California fruit with syrah's original varietal character. The wine has aromas of black cherries, lavender and white pepper. On the palate are flavors of cherries, blueberries, pepper, herbs and a deep savory aspect of the wine which gives it loads of character. Balanced, the high alcohol level is barely noticeable, and the wine has freshening acidity. It should go well with red meats.
