  September 29, 2011 - A lovely, elegant wine, with good concentration, length and finesse, this wine has aromas of apples, pears, hazelnuts, and lemon. On the palate are flavors of pears, nutty oak, caramel, all framed by a distinct minerality. Every thing is in fine balance; the acidity is lively and underpins the weight of the fruit, and the flavors in the mid-palate transition beautifully to the long, nutty finish. Works wonderfully with salmon, lobster, or fish with cream sauces.
