  August 28, 2006 - After starting out a bit tight, this wine really opened up into a very well balanced, big bodied, and beautiful complex pinot noir. Big ripe cherries and wild strawberries are nicely crafted with warm damp earth, black peppar, and velvety oak. Gorgeous light ruby/garnet color belied the creamy body of the wine. Very nice sipping wine on its own, but will stand up to most food.
