  October 30, 2011 - Decanted 30 minutes. Big!
  
  Nose of plums, tobacco, and black pepper.
  
  Very nice mouth feel with the attack led by black cherry and plums, trailing into a nice mid-palate of earth, leather, and pepper. A hint of tar in the mix as well.
  
  Tannins are pretty pronounced. Another year or two of cellar time would help take the edge off.
