  November 2, 2011 - Still sticking with my original rating. I'm going to go with less fruit this time though and more earth tones.
  
  Blackberries, black currant, and tar on the nose. A hint of iodine or cedar adds a band-aid sort of overtone. That is to say, a medicinal nose.
  
  Attack of stewed prunes and tobacco. A flat mid palate then ramping up into strong black tea tones for the finish.
  
  Tannins are beginning to integrate a bit better.
  
  Overall a nice enough wine but still not my style.
