  November 27, 2011 - Nice wine from Old Mission. Michigan wines are certainly leaping forward. This Pinot offered some young fruit up front with dark plum, cherry cola, and cocoa powder. The fruit was a little primary, and may have had a trace of residual sugar. Good acidity, however. I would like to see this lay down for a few years and see if the fruit integrates better. There is potential here.
