This has plenty of guts, interesting flavors and aromas with a sappy, extracted body (liqueur-like), but the alcohol is far too prominent to enjoy all of those qualities. So, drinking this wine was a sad, longing experience. Forget the table. Perhaps this will come together in a few years for medium term enjoyment, but the glaring balance issue doesn't bode well for the long haul. A disappointment.
