  December 1, 2011 - Tasting Group Dinner - Burgs & Northern Rhones (Tilia, Minneapolis): Complex, leathery, earthy nose. Mature, harmonious flavors of red fruit, meat, flowers, baking spice, minerals, and earth/leather/animal fur. Long and elegant, with a lacy, suave, silky texture. Terrific stuff. A lovely La Chapelle that is at the peak of its drinking window, and evocative of the terrific 1980 (see previous TN).
