  December 28, 2011 - Rough, too much heat, not nearly enough fruit. Maybe going downhill fast? I would never have guessed the varietal drinking it blind, would have guessed it was a cheap and bad sauv. Blanc.
  
  on edit: finishing this bottle a week after opening and surprised to find it is much better tonight, maybe because it is paired with some spicy Mexican style frozen pizza. Seems like the spices in the pizza are bringing out the fruit in the wine, so I have upped my rating by a bunch.
