December 29, 2011 - Tasted at the winery. Not normally a big fan of rose in general, but this one tickled my fancy. Aged on the lees - for a rose? Very cool idea. They managed to take a non-red and make it soft and silky. Really liked the texture of this wine. Medium acidity with a palate of mostly watermelon (first time for me) and strawberry, slightly off-dry. What an unusual palate. Worth giving it a try, if you are looking for something a little different.
