  January 29, 2012 - Nice surprise! At under $20 I didn't have high expectations, but it all worked out. Nice dark red color.
  
  Nose of black cherry with hints of leather, must, and oak.
  
  Cherries are immediately echoed on the attack with bits of currant, leather, and a nuance of sweet spices. Intense vanilla mid palate with a smooth but bold mouthfeel. Finish sports some oak, nice tannins, and pretty good balance on the acids.
  
  Not the best cab ever but no slouch. Especially at this price point!
