  February 3, 2012 - Opened and poured; deep ruby, almost purple color. Big nose full of black fruit, blueberry, and smoke. More of the same on the palate with the blueberry being dominant, some nice spicy notes and a hint of licorice. A lot of fruit but not oppressive on the palate, really very enjoyable and the lovely moderate+ finish and smooth mouth-feel really make this wine a value at price. Well worth seeking this one out and buying a few under $30.
