  February 25, 2012 - I've enjoyed three bottles over the last two monts, all with consistent notes. What a consumers wine this is!! Stop talking about wine, let's drink! Enjoy! Enjoyment is written all over this d'Aiguilhe. It is ripe, but not over the top. The 20% cab franc gives a hint of green peppers I just like a lot. Keeps the wine (and the taster) awake. But at the end of the day and bottle, this is a modern wine. Full of ripe fresh fruit, clay, cedar, mint, spice, soft oak, chocolate. Ripe tannins, already in a very good balance and with a long finish. Superb.
