  February 27, 2012 - Decanted for about 30 minutes, then had with shiitake and oyster mushroom frittata and sauteed spinach. Dark burgundy color, gentle oaky nose. Blueberry fruit with a lot of oak, surprising amount of spice and coffee. Satisfying, long-lasting tannins. A fine merlot.
