  March 3, 2012 - Very light ruby color. Mineral/hot stone nose with heavy red fruits. Nuance of nutmeg or cardamom on the nose yielding a sweet spiciness.
  
  Attack of raspberry and strawberry, quick drop to an astringent mouthfeel and sour bite that overpowers the finish. Thin but not completely weak body. Overall non-complex.
  
  Strong acids on this wine keep it from being an excellent standalone experience, but pairs great with a milder food such as a grilled pork chop and a tomato side dish. Or maybe a nice cheddar cheese.
