  March 24, 2012 - Decanted about 60 minutes. Big nose of cherry, loam, mushroom, earth mineral, and oak. Minimal to no brixing tainting an otherwise nice ruby/garnet red color.
  
  Cherry rush on the attack, with casis, mushroom, hints of leather and nice oak. Surprisingly thin and stretched on the mid-palate with almost nothing on the finish.
  
  This is like one of those 4th of July fountains you get that starts off great but doesn't really go anywhere and is altogether too short.
  
  Not a bad wine per se. It just doesn't live up to all the mystique and hype and is definitely not worth the crazy price tag!
