April 3, 2012 - Nose: Hint of coconut, sulfur, and smoke. Primarily giving off honeyed green apples, syrupy citrus, and flint. Palate: Creamy apples, honey, and citrus with loads of spritz on the attack. Big honey lemon salinity on the mid-palate. Impressions of lemon tart linger on the finish.

Big honeyed fruit with no shortage of acidity and spritz to keep things fresh. Really, really delicious and balanced. Quite possibly my favorite producer of riesling these past few years.
