April 8, 2012 - This wine is ageing well and seems that will hold for an additional year or two but I do not see this improving over that time. Decanted for 30 minutes as it was slightly reduced upon opening. The aroma is incredibly intense and clean after decanting. It offers multiple scents starting with aged blackberry preserve, strawberry jam, raspberry syrup, cream, rose petals, cinnamon, dried orange peel, tobacco, cigar box and forest floor. On the palate it is gentle and elegant offering succulent flavors of black fruit preserves and tart dark cherries. It is well structured and impeccably balanced with a mouth watering finish. In a word EXCELLENT. Drink Now - 2014.
