  April 15, 2012 - Color was blood/brick red. Nose carried sweet cherries and hint of flowers. Palate came with sweeter fruit on the front end than usual for barolo (and different than the 2005). It had a richness with vanilla but also zippy acidity. It did lack some of the secondaries of the 2005 but it has a yum factor. Finish just medium.
