  April 19, 2012 - Transparent garnet in color. Still a lot of fruit but also elegant secondary favors starting to make an appearance. Nose is somewhat muted but the palate combines purple plum, with sage notes, wrapped in a surprisingly long finish. Seems like it is entering a phase where it will stay for a couple years, but not much longer. Better to drink now.
