  April 28, 2012 - Drank this as a pop and pour at poker night. What an outstanding wine. Deep purple/crimson hue. A nose of black cherry, raspberry, anise and vanilla. Medium bodied, tannins are quite smooth and integrated. blackberry and creme de cassis are noted. This improved over the course of an hour in the glass, but it was hard letting it linger as it was quite good. Enjoy now with some decanting!
  
  90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, 20 months in 100% French and 75% new oak barrels, alcohol 15.5%.
