  May 19, 2012 - Deep purple in color.
  
  Blackberries, Currant, draped with creme brûlée, and coffee notes on the nose.
  
  Attack elevates the dark fruits of the nose, with a mid palate of graphite, tobacco, and leather accenting a velvety smooth mouth feel.
  
  Finish is mid length with nicely balanced tannins. Good overall balance in acids.
  
  Definitely give this some decanter time before drinking. I snuck and early sip and there wasn't much going on here until you gave it some air time.
