  May 19, 2012 - This wine was drinking stupendously -- it even impressed the selective palate of my dear brother whose proclivities run more to right bank earth than Napa fruit and oak. Chocolate and currants with a sixty second finish. The cab franc is noticeable but there is a lot more nuance going on than just the primary notes from that varietal. Finish went on and on and on. Not an angle to be found. A marvelous wine, drinking so well now it's hard to imagine it will improve but it should certainly keep for a long time.
