  June 4, 2012 - Had this with a nice grilled vegie pizza. 1st off...it was ventura aerated and decanted. Nice dark garnet color, darker than most pinots I've had. nice fruity nose of raspberry and cherry, rather high on alcohol content and body. nice bright acidity with long pleasant finish with end of vanilla, spice and hint of tannins. What was more interesting was the second glass a half hour later, this wine tasted more like a left bank bordeaux very strange but I just wish I had more of it in the charity basket i won at auction
