    June 7, 2012 - This is like a younger version of the 1994, without perhaps the same level of concentration and maybe a hair less complex. Dark red color. Pretty nose of cassis, light oak, earthy spice, and cigar box. In the mouth, sumptuous and velvety, clearly the youngest of the bunch, with tasty black fruit that outruns the layers of earth, spice, and a hint of oak. Good acidity and a long finish still showing a bit of tannic flex. As delightful as this is, given the preceding wines, I'd love to see this again in three to five years. A
