  June 9, 2012 - Slight bricking that just barely hints at its age. Nose is fantastic with sweet berry and cherry aromas combined with spice and floral notes. The palate has richness and weight, but isn't at all heavy, led by dark fruit flavors and a lingering savory spice on the finish that can't be found anywhere else in the world. This wine is in a fantastic place for drinking now but should have many years of drinking pleasure ahead of it. I've been on the fence with some of Grivot's wines but this is downright fantastic.
