  June 27, 2012 - Clear deep ruby, with a light ruby rim. The nose reveals a developing wine with medium-plus intensity and loads of black and white pepper and some dark fruits and dried sultana. The palate is dry with medium-plus tannins, medium acid, alcohol, body, and length. The pepper remains strong and tastey alongside cedar, smoke and a meaty quality. This is a very good northern rhone that is ready to drink or will fill out with some aging.
