  July 7, 2012 - Dusty cherries, plum, cedar,a touch of tar, and warm spices on the nose, portray just the right balance of sap without overt sweetness. Palate is pretty extraordinary, with brisk attack, powerful but lightweight midpalate, and long fiinish. Though my palate consistently is turning toward burgs, this is first class all the way. Still plenty of ripe tannins, this could easily go another 5 years. Unfortunately, my last bottle.
