  August 5, 2012 - Took a flier on a few of these from JJB last year, after reading mindmuse's note I became a bit concerned that $60 for grand cru burg may have been wishful thinking. Opened and let sit in the glass for an hour, dark cherry color with cranberry and raspberry on the nose. Much more fruit than I would have expected. On the palate, mushroom but not overpowering, the abundance of red fruits balances nicely. Good acidity leaves the mouth watering. Drinking well now, but the rest can sit in the cellar for a while.
