September 16, 2012 - Not much of a Chard household, but man, when they are good, they are good. This has such great depth and balance while stilling being refreshing without all that oak and 2ndary Malo manipulation. Nose is soft and sweet with some tropical fruits and melons. Taste shows those lovely fruits up front, but washes over into a more herby and slightly earthy finish. I am no expert, but I felt like I could really taste the influence of the terroir on these grapes. My best comparison is to the Arcadian Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Chard (which is a big complement in my book), that goes for about $15-$20 more. Just lovely for a reasonable price.
