November 26, 2012 - Another "gotcha" white wine. Saw the respectable name of Rosemblum on the front label, and 13.5% alcohol on the back, so bought it. It got me. Too sweet to be considered serious wine. Have to admit they did a nice job balancing things out with some serious acid. Not flabby, just not dry. Bright golden color. The nose is moscato, which even smelling the screw cap told me I bought sweet wine again. The label does not tell us. When it crosses the lips, we get the big "Oh Oh" residual sugar warning. The Granny Smith apple acidity, gives some serious credibility to the sweet peach and papaya fruit. Once you get past the residual sugar and acidity, things just disappear.

Imagine my pleasant surprise when I found something from Rosenblum with reasonable ABV... :)

I agree with you re: that it could be worse, and actually has some likable traits. But it's over the top sweet to me -- if not for the RS, might revisit, oh well.
