  December 8, 2012 - Good, solid bottle from Manfred. Decanted for about 3 hours. Classic SQN notes - smooth, balanced, nuanced. Not as big as other efforts from SQN. I would say this wine is good - really good but not as sensational as so many other SQN wines. Notes of spice, earth, and some good black fruit. Solid in the mouth - good strong finish. As always, its the balance and nuance that makes this stand out.
