  December 14, 2012 - Had with a group dinner at Del Frisco's New York. First experience with this wine, was looking for a high end crowd pleaser to complement the steaks.
  
  This is a very big wine, not for someone interested in subtleties. Deep purple color. Nose is floral/ fruit. Classic Calif Syrah. Boysenberry, cedar, dark fruits, vanilla, mild spice, pepper.
  
  Long fish - 30+ seconds. Excellent and unique wine from a great producer. Has a long life ahead of it, no doubt this will gain complexity in time
