December 26, 2012 - light golden in color, getting almonds overripe peaches and pears, durian fruit. Palate much less intense - light citrus, lemon curd, putty and supporting acidity. Mouth is oily, viscous. Has a faint hydrogen peroxide lingering aftertaste. Total pleasure to drink this bottle. One of the most expressive wines I have found in this price range. Sadly, I think it is my last.
Cooled from home cellar by burying in the snow for about 30 minutes to get the temp down.1 person found this helpful 2,454 views
