  December 26, 2012 - Pop/pour. On the nose, an earthy slightly sulphuric tarry funk. On the palate, nice balance between fruit and acidity, with the latter coming across as quite smooth. Evokes a sense of Burgundy. 92 points.
  
  Update: after 4 hours opened, this has really opened up. At a minimum, I will spash decant the next bottle if opened in the near term. These last sips show a really elegant, smooth and refined chardonnay. 93 pts.

  12/30/12, 8:17 AM - I really like the Talley wines. All the ones I've had have been well made. They make really nice Pinots as well.
