  December 21, 2012 - Bam! Deep purple color leads to nose of cassis, dark cherry, pencil box and dark chocolate. Massive body has flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, currant, cedar and a hint of black truffle. Massive sweet tannins last 50 seconds. Remarkably big but complex wine. I love Shafer HSS!
