Community Tasting Note

  January 19, 2013 - I'm thinking this might have been a somewhat flawed bottle but the cork was perfect and the wine didn't show any noticable signs of bret or VA(maybe premox???.)
  
  Had one glass last night within 20 minutes of opening the bottle and wasn't showing much at all past the super, super dry tannins. Maybe there was a little touch of cranberry and raisin but that's about it. One the second night the tannins had dissipated enough to make this drinkable but it still didn't do much for me. The finish was medium length and the white showed decent complexity with a bit of old leather and tobacco but whatever fruit there was on night one is pretty much gone at this point. Oh well.
