January 23, 2013 - Pale gold. Very fine bubbles. Nose was acidic, citric. Taste was the same. Seems very young-let age a few years at least. But still good.

Good in that they will surely have a very long life, and bad, in that I really like aged champagne and want it to get to the next level a bit faster.

1/24/13, 2:19 PM - I'm all out of '96 LGD. It's very hard to find now. I'll let the 2 Krug and 13 DP sleep all they like. I did just find another source for '90 DP. That vintage is drinking marvelously. But at $250 per bottle, I'll go choose '96 Henriot. Mags of '96 Henriot for under $120 is an amazing deal. What a great vintage.
