  February 19, 2013 - Very classical, but superbly made Chinon. Strong vegetable and herbacious aromas in the first nose. Behind that, the wine shows impressions of ripe peppers, white pepper, and cold coffee. On the palate this wine is nicely balanced, with great elegance on the attack, fine vegetal aromas on the mid-palate, and mellowness as well as freshness and a fine bitter-tone on the finish.
