  March 15, 2013 - Great QPR 12yo Bordeaux. Initially still somewhat tannic but only took 30 minutes to open. Drinking well. Nose showed dark fruits, even plum with subtle tobacco and hint of spice. Palate still shows same dark fruit notes with a fairly juicy finish. Drank well over course of 2-4 hours and went well with truffled mac and cheese with seared sirloin. Should hold well for another year or two but not much longer. Worth $30 for an entry level 12yo Fronsac.
