3/16/13, 11:56 AM - your notes pop up on several of my wines, and our palates converge quite a bit. get on rudius' mailing list. jeff makes great cabernet at rudius; it's ripe but balanced, with tannin and acid to age well. and although it's certainly not inexpensive, it makes for a good value as far as california cabernet is concerned imho. he also makes cab for tor and knight's bridge.

3/16/13, 7:35 PM - caeleric/cae_cpa - Thanks for your suggestions. I'm a big fan of Knights Bridge and its "sister" wine, Pont de Chevalier. Have some Tor in my cellar, but haven't tried it yet. We were out in Napa a couple weeks ago and got to have a private tasting at Knights Bridge - really a great time.
