  April 17, 2013 - Decanted for about an hour after opening. My husband love this pinot, saying that it was bursting with cherries. Since I'm the one writing the note, I gotta say that any cherries on my palate were waay in the background. I found this wine to be rather nondescript with a muted nose of some earth. Palate was beautifully smooth but little fruit or spice that I could taste and with an unremarkable finish. Perhaps my taste buds were taking a vacation. Will try the next bottle in a year or so.
