  April 24, 2013 - Dark, ruddy color. Notes of cherry liquor, camphor, bacon fat, tobacco and lavender soap. The palate is a bit more fruit driven, with cherry and currant flavors and an underpinning of minerals. Juicy acidity and integrated tannins. Rustic. I kind of wish the individual elements added up to a more knitted together whole. More interesting than fun.
