May 7, 2013 - Fading red. Lots of mint and a touch of chocolate. Medium to lighter weight, crisp acidity as in prior bottles but more red and blue fruit with a hint of berry quality. Essentially a classic, savory Chateauneuf with great herbaceousness and spice. More complete, brighter fruit than other recent bottles. Very good but I'd still counsel early consumption before it goes downhill.
