May 7, 2013 - Noticeable improvement over the 2011 tasting. Double-decanted. Lovely medium-red color. Aromatics gorgeous throughout -- fruit and flowers. Starts out a bit tight on the palate, with a pronounced tannic bite on the finish. Fleshes out over the course of the bottle. Nice mouthfeel, decent balance; tannins round out with air. A little Gevrey earthiness. Good wine. Probably better still 2014+.

5/9/13, 8:45 PM - Agree -- really like the vintage on the overall. Some variability, of course, but wines have generally been good along the curve up to now, and many show the potential for serious cellar-worthiness. Particularly am enamored of their transparency of place. Plus they seem like a value, cost-wise, at this point...........

Full satisfaction is here at this point, both colours.
    Let's enjoy them without prejudices
