  May 12, 2013 - Fruity, light-bodied, and moderately sweet. A good example of fresh, young, fruity/sweet riesling. A bit better, perhaps, and brighter, with more acidity.
  
  But: can anyone decipher for me this clap from Terry Theise? "Quiet wine, not reticent but also not chatty; quiet evening, cool, leaves burning not far away, roast is in the oven, and the book is absorbing. Slate-smoke rises in wispy curls. Few words, but all to the point."

  5/12/13, 8:20 PM - I'd say, he's waxing poetic, laying out the scene, and painting a picture with a little more than the basic ROYGBIV.

  5/13/13, 2:41 PM - Thx for the comment. I accept his waxing poetic with a description like "the taste of time" for a Nikolaihof Vinothek but this bears no relation to the wine!

  6/1/13, 5:18 AM - well in fairness, my bottle was open all night and I didn't hear a word out of it...which is kind of hte textbook definition of "not chatty"
