  May 31, 2013 - Not much of anything on the nose except some leather, graphite, and grape. A lot of initial alcohol. To the taste, still very closed - overwhelmed by tannin. Not much fruit. was better after opening up for an hour or so. Some dark fruits and chocolate started to show through. No sign of the funk/prune/raisin that was present a year ago. At this point, not sure if this is due to age or bottle variation. Will probably wait at least another year to try another one of these.
