  June 2, 2013 - Decanted and followed over 2 hours. Shy nose that gives up a little dark fruit and spice. Cool dark fruit intermingled with an earthiness more soil than mineral. Excellent balance framed with firm tannins that are a touch dry but fan out with time. It already has a long and persistent finish. It really opened up in the glass at the 2 hour mark as the fruit took on more pronounced red and sappy tones. A very pretty wine and very good but will give the next one a few years as i believe it has nice upside.
