July 20, 2013 - Had this wine at a Grenache tasting. It didn't do well vs the competition but that's not to say its not an outstanding wine. Opened up nicely after 6 hours in decanter. Just the right amount of a funky barnyard like nose. Not overdone like in the case of the cayuse Grenache

7/24/13, 1:09 PM - 2006, 2007, 2008, God Only Knows were all in the top 5. The Pegau finished a disappointing 11 out 14. The tasting was blind and surprisingly enough I voted the Pegau number one.

7/24/13, 8:15 PM - I've had fairly mediocre bottles of this, and incredible bottles of this. Hard to imagine it finishing so low but it happens. Like I said in one of my tasting notes, when you get a good bottle it's hard to beat. I'm glad you at least enjoyed it.
